UNDERSTANDING A PILLAR OF ISLAM: ASR

Asr is a of the five obligatory rituals in Islam. It is performed in the afternoon, following the time of Zuhr prayer and before sunset. The Asr prayer consists of four units (cycles) and is an important opportunity for Muslims to connect with Allah for seeking His forgiveness. Muslims/Followers of Islam are encouraged to perform Asr prayer in
